New Year Resolution for 2009

I'm back here blogging again. Currently i'm in school having cca, but since i've done my assignment and there's nothing to do now, I shall update it xD

Had a wonderful and fun Flint 5 BBQ + overnight stay at Pasir Ris Park.

And during the night, SHU EN has become my talking partner! ROFL.

Get to know my friends better throughout the whole night. =D

Was damn shagged next day morning, and i overslept on the bus while on my way home.. landed myself somewhere at ang mo kio industrial area. Oh my..

Ya and that's the end of the story.

Now.. the year 2008 is coming to the end. Time really flies like... MAD! Next year i'm like sec. 4 already.
Here's my new year resolution for 2009:
1. To be able to gain victories for everything that I do next year, especially for my O levels.
2. Me and Shannen will lasts long. ^^
3. Everybody to be happy, have wisdom, courage, inspiration for everything that they do.
4. Able to express my thoughts much better =/
5. Able to cope well between studies, cca, and gakkai activities.

Basically it's like that.

Today afternoon will be the last practice for CNY dance performance and tommorow is our performance at the SHQ GM. =/
Kind of excited but.. I still cannot master the tiffany's steps.. =(
Shall master it all and put in more groove into the dance by tonight!

2 More mins and Christmas will be over!
And I'm really glad that she liked the present that i'd gave her. :)

Went to Chinatown in the afternoon till night.
People normally go Orchard Road or somewhere for Christmas, but I went Chinatown. What a unique way to spend my Christmas.
Saw Jia Min at the Chinatown Food Complex. Was rather surprise to see here there. Didn't know what to say at 1st.

She seems to be taller than me?! Oh my..

Ya. Bought a shirt after that. Everytime when i'm buying clothes, it looks nice when it's hanging for display. But when I try on it, I just feel like it lacks something and don't think it's as nice. =/
Weird right?
I still want to buy a green with black/white stripes collar tee. I know at Recoil there's sure to be those shirt, but quite ex. If i'm not wrong, probably costs $39+++

Marina Barrage!

YEAH!
I'm back here.
We had just spend our whole afternoon doing the "Marina Bay Countdown Project" @ Orchard Road. More than 20 people from my class went to do that CIP.
It was really fun, but tiring.
Some passers-by really heck care us, thinking that we are selling something or asking for donations.

Yeah, after the event, Crazybunch went to Mac and slack for a while, before we decided to go to Marina Barrage!

It was a very cool place to go hang out! Located somewhere in Marina South.
The wind was super big, as it was beside the sea/reservoir.
As we do not have much time, we just went to some parts of the Marina Barrage, but it was really fullfilling enough.

Marina Bay Countdown Project

I've actually invited the whole class to join in the Marina Bay Countdown Project on the 21 Dec.
I'm doing it, and might as well invite all of them. It can also be our class outing too. ^^
Hope the registration goes through and well.

Shannen has finally recover much from her diarrhoea. :D
That's wonderful!

Mood Swings, I guess. Perhaps things are not as what I've thought.
May the sleep later on brings me back to the normal self.

Back from the Kotekitai performace at HQ ICA.
It was rather a good show.
From the dance part to the band part, everything was quite smooth and the theme is very meaningful.
One thing to commend about, the performers changed their costume super fast, and they have super good memory about their dance steps. :)

I saw Tze Tian too! It's been damn long time since i saw him! I think got about 2 years never see him liao.
Still remember 2 years ago, when i was Sec.1, there were a group of about 10 students from Toa Payoh Zone, who were super duper active for FD and Gakkai activities. And we were also very high!

And guess what, we formed a family called "Hugs and Chatterbox Family", in short, HCF!
At that time i was really enthu in every activity and we always participated together..
First, we participated a Spirit Booster event for Chingay 2007
Secondly, we cheoero a dance item together with Melvin for FDGM 2007, and we performed on the actual FDGM!
Thirdly, our dance item during FDGM were very good, that SD Chief invited us to perform on the SD Anniversary in Feb. =)
Forthly, some of us participated together for the NDP 2007!

That year I was in Sec. 2 so i can afford to spend more time for activities.
We were really damn crazy about the family thing.

Wei Kang is now studying in TP. No news about what he's doing now, but i think he's in the YMD Young Lions thingy.
Sharon is now studying in a private school.
Kai Yang, erm i'm not very sure, but at least i do see him being active in SD and being the Admin IC in CNY Dance.
Zhi Xin, just finished her O levels, but not that active throughout the year.
Tze Tian, just finished his A levels in SAJC, busying with his canoeing CCA and haha, he didnt go to his SD often.
Hee Ai, sec. 4 but IP programme, so no need take O level and next year going HCJC i think. but didnt really see her active in FD.
Yan Yee, just finished her O levels too, rather active in Kotekitai.. but not in FD. haha
Dezmond, MIA for a long period of time this year, claims he's busy with his choir cca, being the president of his cca.
Krystal, i think she's the only few person in HCF that i saw her quite recently due to the CNY dance. She's in RP now.

SEE... everybody is kinda busy. That's why we didnt get to see each other.
but yeah. It's ok for me now. Coz I'm also busying with Flint stuffs. :D

Had a long chat with tze tian now. Exchanging our views. hehe. Having our Men's Talk. haha

Yeah few days ago, we had the CNY dance practice for two continuous day, and for the third day I have the Marina Bay Countdown Project Briefing.
Toa Payoh Zone will be doing along Orchard Road, near The Forum and Wheelock Place.

Shannen did not come for the briefing.. She's doing at Compass Point.

Flu is much more better, in fact I think it's alright now. Except for some neck and shoulder stiffness.

Dance Practice today was high! But yet we didn't learn much new stuffs. Been going through the previous dance steps all over again. Think is because there are still newcomers joining in, that's why they had to re-teach the previous dance steps.

Just read through Kai Xin's blog about all her experience in OBS.
I was supposed to be there too, but yeah. Didn't pass the medical checkup.
Come to think of it, Sometimes I kind of envy those people who can really do these kind of extreme sports and stuff. And to think of it, I USED TO ENJOY THAT!

But now, things were different. I still continue to play sports, but rarely. And yeah, I don't think I can still take these stuffs now.

Think another way, perhaps it's also good for me.

Long and Tiring Queue

Why am I struck with a flu today? Perhaps of the cold weather yesterday and also that I walked in the rain from Hougang to Sengkang Rivervale Mall.
I've walked for slightly more than 1 hour just to reach there.
And I felt happier after the long walk.

Today, went to help my sister buy her school textbook. The lousy and slow service by the bookshop vendor made me queued and waited for 1 hour plus. =.=
And the damn attitude of the clerk in the schoolc office.

Felt tired, physically and emotionally.
Whatever, I'm gonna rest and get high later for the CNY dance practice.

I think I had gone crazy at that moment.
How could I treat her like this?
But on the other hand, doesn't she treat me this way?
I seriously think that i'm over self-centred.
If anything happenes to my laptop, I think I might even kill her.
I don't know.
This is not what a human being should behave.
Seek refuge at Mac now.
Things will get worse if I continue to stay at home.
Throats are sore after the shouting.
Lips are dry with exhausion.
Fingers are numb and pain after the beating.
Eyes are tired after seeing her.
Heart is painful too.

I do not wish that things will repeats itself, but it keeps repeating.

Tired after all the PD Anniversary help out, but it was fun and enriching. =)
Played basketball in our breaks after ushering all the PD kids today. Layout skills deproved quite alot and i even sprained my leg while doing layout :(

Those Flint people were cheeky man.. keep asking question. Can't be bothered with them. xD

往事只能回味...

Another morning had passed. This time round I accompanied my mum for breakfast @ Hougang Green. It's been a long time since i visited Hougang Green and the nearby area, where I used to live.

There's a rather big change in that area. The place was much more beautiful that last time. New lifts had been upgraded at the opposite flats of my previous house. New facilities like the exercising corner. Even the flats there has been newly painted. (At least to me it's new, but who knows how long ago is the painting done).

Some of these places brings me back my childhood memories..

One of which is this badminton court.

I used to play badminton when i was around primary 4? Every weekend i will play badminton with my neighbour who is staying 1 floor below me. I can't remember his name, but I can remember he's from holy innocent primary. He can really played badminton well! Wonder how is he now?

Then at Hougang Green, the walkway from my previous house to Hougang Green looks greener than before. More plants and flowers were planted there and there's even a new senior citizen activity centre located at the void deck of a flat. My mum said that the facilities down there is superb. She's now learning simple conversational english and line dancing down there. Membership is cheap too!

Well I think I'm gonna rot at home.. Unless I tell myself to start doing my homework!

Yo! Yesterday was the first dance practice for the Chinese New Year Lightup Performance @ SYC.

The dance was nice! Much better and more interesting than MILKRUN dance, but that means it's much more challenging. Long time since I had such a dance performance. Haha. Hope that I could master the dance well.

The title of the song that we are using is called "She Works". It's a rather RnB song. I was thinking since its CNY why we don't use CNY songs? xP

wtf, Money!

Was super sad and angry just now :(
But after listening to the soothing music coming out from my iPod, i feel better.

Damn pissed off with this world. Have you ever wonder, why everything in the world is measured by money?
People said, "Money could not buy happiness, health etc."
But without money, you could not seek medical treatment, you could not buy the things that you liked, you can't even eat. Isn't it contradicting?

Money, Money and More Money.
Especially in Singapore, people are getting so practical about money. It makes me breathless.
I don't know how to say, but just that, why can't there be a system or a world where by you do not need to think about money, do not need to worry about not having enough money?
No wonder people also said, money is the root of all evil. Indeed!
It's plain stupid to have invented money.

Gonna have the Chinese New Year Lightup Dance Practice later at SYC. I think i'll still be unhappy when i'm there. ):

Rest In Peace, Lo Hwei Yen

The Mumbai attack few days ago made me realise that terrorism is really cruel. It can happened anywhere, and anybody would be a victim, including this lady who simply went there for some business trip.

She was killed in the terrorist attack, after being held hostage at the hotel that she was staying. Recently when i bought the newspaper, there were lots of news regarding the death of Lo Hwei Yen during the mumbai attack.
I could not believe that a person who is just 28 years old, with a very promising future ahead, would died in such a cruel and inhuman way!

这也让我觉得我们应该珍惜人生，应该把握每一分，每一秒。
恐怖主义实在太恐怖了。

I really hate all the terrorists. Aren't they inhuman? If you wanna achieve something, do it through negotiations, not through violence and deaths. What's the point of killing all the innocent around you just to achieve things that you wanted, for example asking for a change of government etc.

Moreover, after all your terrorist attacks done, will you achieve the ultimate objective?
The answer is "NO!"
You think that a government in a country will give in to you all bastard terrorist after such gruesome attacks done? Only a government who is silly will do that.
This will only make the government and people around the world to believe that we should fight against terrorist, demolish all of you, capture all of you and make sure such things will never ever happened again!

I simply think that this is not the correct way.
And regarding the death of Lo Hwei Yen, I really feel very sad for her family and her loved ones.
Although I do not know her, but I somewhat can feel the sadness of her death.
I think is because she's a singaporean and it's surprising to know that a Singaporean died in a terrorist attack overseas. It's fate.
Like what my mum said: "命".
命注定要发生的事，就会发生，有时候是改变不了的事。

I hope that this kind of incident will never happened in Singapore! Let us all Singaporean fight against this gruesome act of terrorism!

“FD Flint 5 Outing, SUCCESS!”

I'm just back from the PD Anniversary Rehearsal. Didn't help out much today, only which I took over 1 lion cubs' role as he's absent.

Yesterday was the flint 5 outing. After so much planning and discussion, we finally had executed our plan.

Brendon was super late, and the starting part of the outing at vivo city didn't turn out well.

Some of the things were not executed properly, for example the helpline and the task sheet. Instructions were not passed down properly.

However, after the people started the race, everything went quite smoothly, except that NONE of the teams completed all 6 stations =)

But I'm super glad that the weather is very good! Sun shining bright onto Sentosa Island. (:

After the outing, most of the committee members stayed back and played till 6pm++

We had made the promise to overcome all obstacles to be together. I know that it's still the beginning, but I'll definitely make sure that i won't become like your ex.

When the holidays end, both of us will have to get back to school. But our love will sure go on!

Just came back from plaza singapura. Having a sore throat + back pain + neck pain = (

I don't know what caused me to have back and neck pain, perhaps I did not have a nice sleep last night.

Went down to Plaza Singapura to meet shermaine, Charmaine, Benjamin and Yee Fong for the outing discussion.

Despite of my sore throat, I still had a fillet-o-fish meal as my lunch. Who asked them to have a discussion in mac! =.=

The most interesting part is that we spend like almost 1 hour sorting out all the clues, to make sure that the teams get the correct clues for their next station. If not they might end up in a wrong station and the whole amazing race will get mixed out.

But in the end it was done. =)

Shannen came, with her friends, to mac and find us. :D

Although we didn't talk much, but we get to see each other ^^

After discussion, we went walking around Carrefour, and we make a clown out of ourselves. xD

Shermaine could not take out her ear ring, and we had to get her to 77^th street to get it off. The lady there just used two pliers and could manage to get it off smoothly, while Benjamin and Charmaine tried very hard to pull it off, causing great pain to Shermaine. And OUCH! She grabbed my wrist so hard!

Wanna blog more, but feel like sleeping.

Raining…

Not in a good mood now.

The same old thing keeps repeating itself.

Sometimes I wonder when will she grow up and starts to understand things much much better than now.

I wonder did she really have some problems with her or is she just being mischievous.

Today, I've decided to clear up my room, starting from that particular drawer which I kept all my gakkai stuffs and those memorable stuffs. I dig out all those messy things and much of them make me recall of certain incidents.

One of which is the NDP training schedule. Talking about NDP, it really makes me remind of those tough and strenuous trainings that we had in Kranji Camp. I also remember how excited I am when I first step into the Marina Bay Floating Platform. It was in the middle of the sea but yet it was so stable. The winds were also cooling there.

Another item which makes me recall of the past is a letter written by Jia Min when we were in P6. She was my partner for the Emcees for the PD Anniversary in 2005. And ya, talking about her really bring back much more memories, both pleasant and unpleasant memories. The letter is to encourage me when I'm about to go for the operation for my heart problem at that time. J

There were lots more memorable items inside, too many to be said here. I'm currently using Microsoft Word to blog and hope that it is successfully uploaded into my blog.

Ok shall end off here, gonna continue that darn video! I must had lost my mind when I agreed to do that video.

It's raining now, I wonder if she has an umbrella with her. Hope she'll get home safety.

Hi. Welcome me back, blogger!
It's been 9 months since I'm blogging on blogger and 6 months since i last blogged.
Decided to start my blogging habit once again.

This time round i really want to have a blog where i can let my inspiration flows, let my thoughts ponder, and let me express my feelings. So yup. And i don't think i want to let too many people know that i have a blog. But i shall see my mood xP

Went out the whole day with Shannen. Had lunch and dinner with her. =D

Agenda for tommorow:
1. Print out outing clues, bonus questions and sort accordingly.
2. Finalise all outing stuffs with comm. members.
3. Check with Ghee Han for refreshments and equipments.
4. Do Infocomm video (effects, transitions, etc.)
5. ~~Set Up Blog~~ (It's done!)
6. Clean up my house, especially the mess created by my sis. =(
